Geoff's Review
One of the Focal Point 'mini-chain' of well-marketed cinemas in the lower North Island (others can be found in Feilding and Hastings), this Levin venue offers the same high quality 'Cinema and Cafe experience' as the other two.
If you are travelling north from Wellington up SH1 and miss the Shoreline Cinema in Waikanae, then Focal Point Levin should be your next stop. The cinema can be easily found just off Queen Street, which bisects the main drag of Oxford Street, with the cinema sited adjacent to the Levin Mall carpark. Offers a good mix of mainstream and art house titles, as well as school holiday fare, parents & babies sessions, and Birthday at the Movies. Admission prices are good (films before 5pm are $12; after 5pm are $15). The cafe is particularly popular, with excellent food options.
