Geoff's Review
Most recent visit: May 2022
A newish venture in this Wairarapa town; the sort of restaurant/cinema venture you might normally expect to find in Ponsonby, Auckland or Cuba Street, Wellington. A very upscale destination, with delicious tapas-style food served by attentive staff. Once you have dined, then catch a film (with an emphasis on art house screenings) at one of the two adjacent cinemas. It also hosts festivals such as the French Film Festival 2022.
Easily found at the southern end of Queen Street, in the trendy little village of Kuripuni, and open from 10am daily. Good street parking. Masterton is now well served by cinemas, with The Screening Room and the long-established Regent .
