Originally operating out a site on Watt Street in the river city of Whanganui, this private cinema-cum-gathering place, moved to a vintage (1926) building in downtown Whanganui in July 2021.  The new cinema seats 30-40 people and provides a mix of art-house/world cinema and, documentaries, with screenings on Thursday/Friday/Saturday.
The Confluence Cinema operates within its values of Community, Collaboration and Critical Thinking and is a real asset for the city.
2022 Update: Due to  difficult circumstances, Confluence will close on  April 23, 2022 (see Blog for further information)
